Dennis W. O’Dowd,
(42), has 20 years of business experience in private equity financing and mergers and acquisitions.
A part of the Ivy team since inception, Mr. O’Dowd has been primarily focused on the execution of the Fund’s investments
including the due diligence, valuation and structuring of potential investment opportunities as well as the monitoring of
portfolio activities. He currently sits on the boards of IvyRehab Network, Inc. and HealthMark Partners, Inc., and is an
observer on several other boards of Ivy’s portfolio companies. Prior to joining Ivy Capital Partners, LLC, Mr. O’Dowd was
a principal at Grumman Hill Group, LLC, a generalist private equity fund, where he gained valuable experience in the
structuring, monitoring and realization of investments as well as the logistics of fund management. Mr. O'Dowd spent two years at Salomon Smith Barney in the Mergers and Acquisitions group, where he was involved in a variety of industries and transactions. Mr. O’Dowd began his career at Price Waterhouse, LLP in
the Corporate Finance division as an analyst working on valuation of both public and private companies.
In addition Mr. O’Dowd is a founder and trustee of the Christopher N. Ingrassia Memorial Organization, a nonprofit
organization to honor the memory of his college roommate and the thousands of people who lost their lives on September 11th.
Mr. O’Dowd graduated from Princeton University in 1995 with an A.B. in Economics.
